Join us on Saturday, May 9 for a very special Chelsworth Club Lunch as Old Ivanhoe Grammarians FC takes on Old Carey at Chelsworth Park.

This will be a significant day for the club as we come together for a lunch in memory of Steve King, while also celebrating the 25-year reunion of our 2001 Premiership side (Seniors & Club XVIII). It promises to be a meaningful and memorable occasion, bringing together past and present members of the OIGFC community.

Our Chelsworth lunches continue to be a highlight of the season, offering a fantastic opportunity to connect over great food, drinks, and conversation before the afternoon’s football.

We are pleased to announce that our guest speaker the following week will be Josh Weddle, a rising star of the Hawthorn Football Club and one of the AFL’s most exciting young players. Drafted to Hawthorn in 2022, Josh has quickly established himself at senior level, known for his versatility, athleticism and strong defensive craft across the backline.

Josh also comes from a proud OIGFC family, as the son of Life Member and three‑time premiership player Jarrod Weddle, and the nephew of Club Legend, former captain and four‑time premiership player Rowan Weddle. Josh was educated at Carey. Still early in his career, he has already earned league‑wide recognition, including an AFL Rising Star nomination and multiple 22under22 selections.
