Herald Sun Icon: Best known for his work with the Herald Sun, Shane has been the voice behind countless major racing stories and Spring Carnival moments. Bart Cummings’ Biographer & Confidant: He had a close relationship with racing royalty, including legendary trainer Bart Cummings, offering unique behind-the-scenes insights. Master Storyteller: Expect great yarns, racing tales, and a sharp wit—Shane knows how to hold a room and keep everyone engaged. A parent of two former students of the School, a local resident and a history of 12 years as president of University Blacks.
