VALE JOHN DAWSON
John Dawson was a highly respected captain of our school and one of the founding players for Old Ivanhoe in the Round 1, 1964 team after the club’s reformation.
His dedication and leadership were instrumental in shaping the Old Ivanhoe Grammarians Football Club into what it is today. John’s positive influence and unwavering commitment leave an enduring legacy.
The club mourns his passing and extends heartfelt condolences to his family and friends during this difficult time.

Our official women’s pre-season starts Feb, but after such a successful info night… we’re squeezing in ONE session before Christmas!

🎄 Followed by our Club Christmas Break-Up – 7:30pm at the clubrooms

Old Ivanhoe Grammarians Golf Day – Join Us!
We’re excited to announce the 2026 Old Ivanhoe Grammarians Golf Day – a fantastic opportunity for the OIGFC community to come together for an afternoon of golf, camaraderie, and fun.

Date: Thursday, 29 January 2026
Time: 1:00 PM – Shotgun Tee Off (registration from midday)
Location: Heidelberg Golf Course
Finger Food and Refreshments available during the post round presentations
Cost:
$115 per non-HGC member
$50 for HGC members
